Chris, Rich, Kara and family. Your Dad was one of my favorites! He had the best smile, stories and bigest hart. Not to mention a wonderful family. I am so sorry for you loss and the loss we are all going to feel without him at parties and pinics. We always bumped into eachother in odd places-I think I will miss that the most. My prayer and thoughts are with you all, i hope the wonderful memories of your dad will help you find peace! Much love~Kim

Dear Robin, Bonnie, Bob, Chris, Rich, Kara and Families, Dick was a life-long friend of ours who left us with a multitude of wonderful memories that will forever bring smiles to our faces. The times we spent together as class mates and teammates at Summit GS and at Lehman HS were great. And it was also our good fortune to have remained in touch with him over the years through college life and our adult lives (even though we may not have grown to full maturity). He meant so much to us. We will truly miss Dick's sense of humor, his warmth, his love of family and his calls and visits. We send our deepest and heartfelt condolances to your family and may our memories keep him alive forever. Kent and Paula (Rochus) Smith

To Chris, Rich and Kara-Your Dad's passing leaves a void in our lives that is at least partially filled by all the wonderful memories he provided to us. What a giant of a man he was in every sense of the word. When Dick entered the room it was as though a bright light had just come on. We will all miss his kindness, generosity and good humor. We feel fortunate to have enjoyed his friendship for so long and truly appreciate the joy he brought to so many lives. Dick will be forever remembered and missed

Kara, Rich, Chris, Our hearts are broken with your loss. I can honestly say this is the only time I have thought of Dick and it has brought me sadness. His family and friends are the most valued thing to him and because of this every time we got together I knew it would be fun. Although there won't be a day we won't miss 'The Big Guy', we are filled with countless 'WONDERFUL' memories together that will last for ever. Dick embodied life and how to enjoy it. His life and how he lived it is a gift to all that know him. Jay and Barb
