Even though I wasn’t related to Ninny, I felt as if I was one of her own grandchildren. I am forever grateful to have had her in my life and to share so many memories. One memory I have was when Emma and I asked her for hot chocolate when we were young. She took one of the hot chocolate packets and split it between the two mugs. Emma and I were feens for sugar so we were not satisfied for how it tasted. We asked for more chocolate and she refused. I decided once she left to sneak into the fridge to grab the Hershey’s syrup. I was caught red handed and will never forget the lecture I got from Ninny. I believe my punishment was not being able to hangout with Emma while Ninny watched us for two weeks. There are many more memories I have, the most recent ones visiting her with Emma and Sam. She was always so happy and just seeing her made our day.
Ninny will forever have a special place in my heart. ❤️
