This brings sincere and heartfelt sympathy in the loss of your dear Aunt Mary. I became reacquainted with Mary several years ago through the Millburn Seniors and we often reminisced about growing up in Irvington and our wonderful childhood there. I chatted with Mary occasionally after she relocated to CN and I know she was happy and content to be close to her caring family there. I will remember her fondly. Your Aunt Eileen was in my graduating class of 1944. Sincerely, Ruth Bonner (Union, NJ)

Mary was a lovely, religious person. I worked with Mary at Prudential. I too was an executive secretary and we worked on the 10th floor Executive offices. Mary and I went on a week’s vacation to Vermont and had a memorable time as she was an adventurous person. She also induced me to go on a religious retreat with her to a convent at Lake Ronkonkoma, which was a different sort of vacation and which I enjoyed as well. She also helped me and my newly married husband to find an apartment, which was a very hard thing to find after the war. I only stayed a few years at Prudential as I left after I married and was expecting my first child. But I always had fond memories of Mary. My thoughts and prayers are with her. May she rest in peace.
