To Rick's family. I knew Rick through ARRP Taxaid Program, a kind, gentle spirited man always with a smile and a warm welcome, even when it was freezing outside. God's blessings and peace, Gloria

Although Rick and I haven't connected for many years, his smile is reminiscent of our days at Hamilton. That memory will live on with those who knew him and were proud to call him "friend".

To Dianne and family, my heartfelt condolences on the loss of an affable, easygoing, steady gentleman ... Rick was my high school classmate, and as previously posted by me, I last saw him and took a photo with him at the UConn-Missouri football game in Connecticut in 2017, just a week or so after our 50th high school reunion. He invited me and my friend to visit his tailgate prior to the game, a rare opportunity in the East for me to root for my Mizzou Tigers. I recall Rick's ever present smile as he toted an armful of books, held out to the side, in the halls of Metuchen High. Gone much too soon, with a life well lived, may his memory be a blessing to all who knew and loved him.

I went to Metuchen High School with Rick also graduating in 1967. Even in high school, Rick displayed the great personality and reliability that followed him into adulthood. He will be missed.

We were so shocked and saddened to hear about Rick's passing. We always found Rick very friendly and so easy to talk with. We enjoyed sharing updates on our families or recent vacations. Rick always impressed us with his energy and what an avid runner he was. He had a wonderful personality.
We send our deepest condolences and heartfelt sympathy to Dianne, Lauren and Matt and the rest of the family. Please know you are all in our thoughts.

When I first met Rick (as my new boss) it was after my father's funeral. He was so kind and caring about how I was doing. I really enjoyed working with Rick.
My sympathy goes out to Dianne and his family. I wish you many memories that ease your sorrow during this time. He will be missed. I know I will never forget him.

We really were honored to have Rick and Dianne with us at our daughter’s wedding in Vegas. We also had a really fun trip to Napa with them where Rick introduced us to his favorite milkshake, a “black and white”, at a place called Taylor’s Refresher, an old fashioned burger joint that opened the year Rick was born. Our deepest condolences to Dianne, Lauren, Matt and the whole family.

Many of us knew Rick well from our work together at The Travelers/United Healthcare. I'll never forget what he did for me by helping me to embark on my PeopleSoft consulting career. Rick gave me the highest recommendation, and paved the way for my success in consulting. That happened to be a springboard for much of my later career opportunities. I owe him more than I could ever measure. I had hoped to get together with Rick earlier this year, but the Covid situation blocked our plans. Tough lesson learned - don't wait, keep in touch with those that are important to you! My sincere condolences to the family.

Rick, beer in hand yelling at the TV when the Giants / or a UCONN basketball team did something dumb. If only the coaches could hear him, but now they will.
