Mr. Erickson, we'll miss you very much! Really love your photo - that's exactly how we know you and will remember you: as our affectionate, jovial neighbor across the street, who'd shout out a hello each time you spotted us from your driveway. Our daughters will miss the interest you took in their education and activities through their school years and the gifts you and Jeannette gave them on their milestones. We’ll cherish memories of our little conversations about family, about your time at Pratt & Whitney, about clocks and ukulele. Your smile and spirit will always be with us.

To the family, I'm sorry for your loss and send my condolences. Losing a loved one is one of the hardest times in a family's life. Always know that others care. Most importantly God cares. Russ was a classmate at Bulkeley High and a terrific guy. What a wonderful obituary and to read about a wonderful life. He attended some of our class reunions and was always upbeat and happy. On behalf of the Class of 1949, our sincere condolences to Russ's family.
