Obituary of Richard J. Powloka

Richard J Powloka, age 57, of Glastonbury CT, died suddenly on Tuesday, January 19, 2021.  Born in Ware, MA, Rich was the son of Theodore and Claudette (LaFave) Powloka also of Ware, MA, both deceased.  Rich is survived by his younger brother, William Powloka of Uxbridge, MA.  Rich was predeceased by his older brother, Joseph Powloka of Arvada, CO.  He is also survived by several nephews and nieces and his beloved, Cheryl Joan.  Rich was employed by Fedex Ground in Willington CT.  Previously he was the proud owner of Racers Performance Parts in Windsor CT.   Calling hours will be held on Saturday, January 23, 2021 from 10am-12noon at Mulryan Funeral Home, 725 Hebron Ave, Glastonbury CT (masks and social distance is required).  A private service will be held immediately after for family members. A burial service will be held at a later date.
