It is so difficult to say goodbye - we've been friends since high school. All the years we've been putting the reunions together-enjoying the laughs and especially "Chef John's" dinners! I feel like I've lost my brother--you will always be in my heart. My love goes out to Linda and your entire family.

To John’s family,
I was saddened to read about John. Sheptoff and Reuber was our active CPA firm for over 45 years.
Since retirement I still find it necessary to continue to use their services.
I’m hoping he will meet my husband, Nunzio, in heaven.
May he rest in the arms of Our Heavenly Father. I will keep him in my prayers .

Prayers our condolences to Linda and the family on your loss of John. The Cullinane family of Clover Corporation were clients of John for 40 years. His warm friendship and capable business acumen guided our business through its growth over many years.
He always made us feel he had our best interest at heart and cared about each of us. When I met him recently in the grocery store he asked how I and the boys were doing. May you all feel consoled by his love for you and may fond remembrances carry you through the grief you now feel.

Linda and family. My sincere sympathy is extended to you. What a wonderful guy. I remember being the only 2 males in Mrs Burril’s typing class. A class that at the time, saying we’ll never have to type and use this in our workplace. Little did we realize how useful it would became. John was always a pleasure to see and talk with. My thoughts and prayers.

My sincere and deepest sympathies to John's wonderful family, Linda his loving wife, Krista his daughter and John his son and of course their families. John & I go back to HS, we remained friends in close contact since then. I have so many memories of the early days, days in between and current. John & Linda Claudette (my wife) made sure we spent time here in Kennebunk, there in Glastonbury, and of course Naples, FL every year, for many. I will miss John in so many ways I will mostly miss that wonderful smile and his ability to make you comfortable. I will miss our time in the kitchen cooking together and of course many other activities. He was a great man that cared so much for others. Rest in peace my friend. Love you. I met John when he was 18 and we worked together at Eastern Records for 3 years. Then 5 years later, John called and asked me to work for him and Mark Sheptoff. That was the start of working with John for 38 years, John was the best boss, best teacher and an amazing & caring friend. Even after he retired, John always made sure we met for lunch and our April 15th dinner. He never forgot Valentine's Day. My thoughts are with Linda, Krista and John. We will miss John but we will all share in the great memories of his amazing life. Bless you, my dear friend.

Thoughts and prayers to John’s family and his many friends. John was a mentor and friend after I joined Sheptoff, Reuber after college. He displayed what being a great CPA meant, the key to which is creating a caring friendship, which he did with all his clients. He worked hard but always was positive and had fun.

How do you say goodbye to a childhood friend? I believe you go over memories in your head of the fun times you shared. John and I carried a childhood friendship through high school and beyond, which included the planning of our high school reunions, getting together, stuffing envelopes and enjoying a great meal which John had prepared. I will carry those memories in my heart forever.
Rest in peace my long time friend. You will be missed.

My deepest sympathies to Linda, Krista, John and the rest of the family. I worked with John for almost 30 years. He was a great teacher, mentor and friend. I have so many happy memories of John that it's hard to list just one. I guess it would be going fishing together. John was a great man and will be dearly missed by all that knew him.
