Obituary of Dorothy T. Devereux
Dorothy (Tryon) Dillingham Devereux, 93, passed away on February 14th. Daughter of the late Hilda and Raymond Tryon of South Glastonbury. She was a lifelong resident of Glastonbury, and employed by the Glastonbury Food Service Department until her retirement. Dorothy was a loving wife, mother, and sister. She was predeceased by her husbands Elroy Dillingham, and Reginald Devereux, her son, Ronald Dillingham, her sister Shirley (Tryon) Fuller, three brothers, Warren, George, and Donald Tryon. She is survived by her two sisters, Helen (Tryon) Taylor Ellis, and Frances (Tryon) Barker, and a sister-in-law Diane Tryon, and many nieces and nephews. Due to the covid-19 pandemic, there will be no calling hours or service. Burial will be private. Donations in Dorothy's memory can be made to Protectors of Animals, 144 Main Street, East Hartford, CT 06118, or to the Glastonbury Volunteer Ambulance Association, 2112 Main Street, Glastonbury, CT 06033.
