Obituary of Justin S. Howe, Sr.

Justin Howe Sr., age 41 passed away, June 14, 2021, on his own terms surrounded by loved ones at Hartford Hospital. Justin is predeceased by his loving wife Lora Shannon Howe.

Justin was born at St. Francis Hospital October 15, 1979. He was born with a heart defect and was not expected to live long, however little did the world know how much of a fighter Justin truly was. Even though he had many health challenges in his life he never let it define him. Justin was a warrior and always fought to live. Justin took part in activities such as horseback riding, dirt bikes, and automotive. He was a part of the fire department as well for some time which he was very proud of. On other days he appreciated working on the family farm and had a snow plowing business.

Justin will be always remembered and deeply missed by many. Especially, his grandfather Robert Howe, son Justin Howe Jr., sister Tanya Aldrich (Ben), brother Julio Howe (Sandra), uncle Jeff Howe (Pamela), and his godmother Lanie Niver. Justin leaves behind his cousins Joshua, Daniel, and Alisha. Also his nephew Arlo and two nieces Alexis and Azalea. He is predeceased by his grandmother Mildred Jean Howe, mother Shirley Howe and his uncle Robert Howe.

We would like to thank all of Justin’s doctors and nurses who helped along the way, especially his cardiac team at CT Children’s Medical Center.

Friends may call at the Mulryan Funeral Home, 725 Hebron Ave, Glastonbury on Saturday June 19 from 10 to 12pm. Immediately after there will be a celebration of Justin’s life at 12pm. Burial will take place in Buckingham Cemetery located in Glastonbury, CT where all are welcome. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the American Heart Association at www.heart.org or CT Children’s Medical Center at www.give.conncticutchildrens.org.
