Obituary of Oscar G. Espinoza

Oscar Espinoza Sr., 89, passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, August 11, 2021.  He was born on Feb 5th 1932, in Abancay, Peru. An avid sports fan, Oscar especially enjoyed watching his New England Patriots and world cup soccer games. He spent countless hours watching and bantering about his Patriots with family and friends. His other passion, was going to the beach with all his family.  He retired from CNC Machine Windsor Locks CT after 40 years.  Oscar had a great sense of humor and was always able to put a smile on everyone’s face. Oscar lived a full life, giving us all everlasting memories to cherish. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his loving wife Juana (Ramos) Espinoza, sharing 62 years of marriage, and his children Janet and her husband Wagner Gomez of East Hartford, Carol Albert and her partner Mark Thornton of Hebron, Oscar Espinoza, Jr of East Hartford and John and wife Jocelyn Espinoza of Hebron. He also leaves many grandchildren and great grandchildren as well as a large extended family. Calling hours are Monday, August 16th from 5-7pm at Mulryan Funeral Home, 725 Hebron Ave., Glastonbury CT. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St Edmund Campion Parish,  St. Christopher Church, 538 Brewer St., East Hartford at 10am Tuesday, August 17th. Burial will follow in Silver Lane Cemetery, East Hartford.  In lieu of flowers please send a donation to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.  The family request that everyone attending calling hours at the funeral home and the funeral service at the church wear a Mask. If need be Masks will be provided.
