Obituary of Diane Downey

Diane Lynn Downey, 50, of Glastonbury, died Wednesday April 24, at Hartford Hospital. Born September 11, 1962 in Hartford, she had lived in Glastonbury for the past 30 years. Diane was formerly employed as a Court Reporter. She was a member of St. Dunstan Church and had volunteered with the altar guild. Diane is survived by her mother Donna (Simmons) Downey of Vero Beach, FL, her father James F. Downey of Glastonbury, a brother and sister-in-law Matthew and Dr. Sandra Downey of Cazenovia, NY, 3 sisters Laurie Kerwin of Sharon, MA, Melinda Downey and Melissa Downey both of Brooklyn, NY, 4 nephews and a niece, Ryan Allen, Nicholas Kerwin and Andrew Kerwin all of Sharon, MA, Alex Downey and Jennifer Downey both of Cazenovia, NY. Funeral service will be Monday April 29 at 9:00am from the Mulryan Funeral Home, 725 Hebron Ave., Glastonbury to St. Dunstan Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, East Hartford. Friends may call at the funeral home Sunday April 28 from 2-4pm.
