Obituary of Raymond H. Levesque
Raymond H. Levesque, 79, of Glastonbury passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, June 19, 2022 surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Gaetane Marie Rose (Soucy) Levesque.
Born in Van Buren, Maine he was the son of the late Arthur and Mathe (Madore) Levesque. Raymond was a former Hartford resident, moving to Glastonbury over thirty years ago. He worked as Chief Quality Control Inspector for many years for the Wiremold Company. Raymond enjoyed driving his classic MG all over the Glastonbury hillsides and loved attending classic car shows in Stowe, VT. He loved vacations with his family on the coast of Maine and eating lobster. Raymond enjoyed many spring vacations with his wife in the southern states.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his two daughters Kimberly Simeone and her husband James of Lebanon, Natalie Reilly and her husband Luke of Glastonbury, his four grandchildren Brandon Simeone, Luke, Samson and Rocco Reilly, his brother Lawrence Levesque, his four sisters Arlene Reis of CT, Diane Shattuck of MD, Margaret Gingras of SC, Elsie Goulet of Canada, and Lorraine LaVoie of ME and several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, June 27, 2022 at 10:00 am at St. Dunstan Church, 1345 Manchester Rd., Glastonbury. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery.
