I just learned of Jane's passing and am shocked and heart-broken. My memories of her begin with her birth--a new baby in the group to cuddle and love. She was a joy everywhere--especially on the slopes and in the classroom. What a delight to watch her and Jim dance at their wedding. How blessed we were to have her in our lives, but how far too short the time. Love and condolences to her family and friends. Jan Glitzenstein

We are broken hearted to hear the news of Jane. I know there will be a hole in so many hearts that were close to her. I followed her on Facebook and saw that she made her last days as special as she could spending time with all those that she loved. Please know that your family is in our thoughts and prayers. We are here for you if you need anything.

I am so saddened by the passing of Jane. She was my childhood friend, starting at the age of 4. I have so many wonderful memories of growing up together on Hope Lane: neighborhood kickball, bike riding, playing dolls and school, running for the school bus, watching soap operas, eating dinners at each other’s houses, hiking in the woods to the “wishing tree”, years of trick-or-treating, and hosting neighborhood fairs to benefit The Jimmy Fund. Jane was the best, kindest and most loyal friend anyone could have. Her parents, Marybeth and Annemarie represented everything good about family, and treated me as one of their own. I haven’t seen Jane in recent years, and never got to know her husband and children, but I can imagine she was an exceptional wife and mother. It is so unfair that she was taken so soon. I hope that faith will keep her family strong through this very difficult time. I am thinking about you all. I hope Jane knows how much she meant to me and how lucky I was to call her my friend. Rest peacefully, dear Jane.

We cannot comprehend what the loss of Jane means to everyone who loved her. Jim, Jane, Lauren and Evan were the very best of neighbors and Jane became a cherished friend. There are no words that adequately express our sorrow for this loss and our prayers go out to all of you during this difficult time.

My heart breaks with the loss of Jane. A cherished friend, Jane will always be remembered with love and a smile. After having known Jane growing up, we were fortunate enough to have her in our life again as adults when Jane and Jim moved in as neighbors when the kids were just babies! Letting Scout and Malibu play was a favorite activity! I know Scout and Jane have been reunited and will continue to be angels watching over Jim, Lauren and Evan. Sending many prayers to her family and friends as we grieve her loss. Jane was a bright light to all that knew her.
