Obituary of Frances Garrish

FRANCES Q. GARRISH 80, beloved wife of 50 years to John J. Garrish Jr., passed away Wednesday May 22, 2013 at home surrounded by her family and friends. Born June 3, 1932 in Bridgeport she was daughter of the late Martin and Frances (Wawrzoszek) Quinn. Fran graduated from the Sacred Heart Academy in Stamford. She had been a resident of Danbury for 45 years. While being avid reader, she also was a volunteer both at Danbury Schools and at The Pope John Paul Center in Danbury. Nothing brought her more joy than spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Besides her husband, Fran is survived by her loving children and their spouses, Anne and her husband Mark of Glastonbury, Mary of Newington, John and his wife Gaby of West Hartford, Kerry and her husband Derek of Danbury. Her 7 Grandchildren are Daniel and Ryan Frances Miela, John 'Jay', Kevin, Charles and Ansley Garrish and Liam Hannon. She is also survived by her brother Walter J. Quinn of Greenwich. She will be dearly missed by all. Funeral service and burial will be private.
