Obituary of Marguerite Schultz

Marguerite (Anne) Schultz, age 77, beloved wife of Frank B. Schultz, entered eternal rest on June 10, 2013. Born April 20, 1936 in St. Albans, VT, Anne was the second daughter of the late Urgel B. and Gertrude (Gilman) St. Denis. She attended Holy Angels School and Bellows Free Academy in St. Albans until her family moved to CT in 1953. Anne graduated from Wethersfield High School in 1954. She was employed at Cigna in Bloomfield until 1966 when she changed her career to become a stay at home mom. An avid fan of the UConn Huskies Woman's Basketball team, Anne enjoyed her family, bowling, traveling, and watching the Pro Golf Tour. She was a past president of the St. Augustine Altar Guild in South Glastonbury and also past president of P&WAC Retirees Group. Most recently, she was the secretary of P&WAC Retirees Group. Anne is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, her daughter, Denise Ingenito and her husband Peter, her son, Kurt and his fiancee, Deborah Hunsicker. Memaw also leaves her cherished grandchildren, Samantha Rose, Peter Frank and Isabella Marie Ingenito. Survivors also include her sister, Marie-Jeanne Mendence and her husband, Robert, her brother John St. Denis, in-laws Raymond and Regina Schultz and JoAnne and James Blancato. She also leaves several nieces and nephews, including special godson, Robert Mendence, Jr. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Friday, June 14, at 10:00 a.m. at Saint Augustine Church, 55 Hopewell Road, South Glastonbury. Burial will follow in the State Veterans Cemetery in Middletown. Friends may call Thursday, June 13, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Mulryan Funeral Home, 725 Hebron Ave., Glastonbury. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Saint Augustine Church or to the Saint Francis Hospital Cancer Center or Congestive Heart Failure Unit, 114 Woodland St., Hartford, CT.
