It's so hard to pick special memories of someone that you've known for a long time. I remember Ben's hunting and fishing stories of Wyoming.. Lately, with the boys, and doing fun things with them, I especially remember sitting at Renesen's Farm, watching the boys fish and talking with Ben. He was very proud of them and enjoyed watching them. He was very special, and had a great hand in raising Mike, who is the love of my daughter's life. We will miss him in so many ways. But I think he had a life well lived, which we all hope to achieve.

If you knew Ben you knew that he was a very unique person. He would usually have a story to tell and it would make you laugh out loud. I've known Ben for about 15 years or so. I met Ben and his lovely wife Linda when my daughter Niki met their son Mike. When Niki and Mike got married Ben and Linda became Niki's Mother and Father-in-law. I couldn't ask for better people to be in Niki's family. Ben was always there to help. Whether it was taking care of our grandkids (Grayson and Derek) or helping me load a log splitter onto a trailer. That's one thing I had in common with Ben. We are the 2 Grandpa's to Grayson and Derek. He is "Grumpa" and I am "Grandpa B "Along with everyone else I am truly going to miss him and his witty humor>

So sorry for the loss of Ben. He was so special. He fought an amazing battle. He has returned to the spirit world pain free. I'll miss you.
