Obituary of Tommy White

Tommy White passed away peacefully in his sleep on October 29th.

Tommy always had a twinkle in his eye and was known to bring fun with him wherever he went.   He was never afraid to stir a thing up which was central to his charm.  Tommy was a graduate of Glastonbury High School.  He played competitive Soccer with CFC and enjoyed hanging with his friends.  He was a senior at the University of Alabama, where he studied Operational Management in the Culverhouse College of Business.  Despite pandemic restrictions, Tommy made the most of his time at University of Alabama and was an honors student.   In his free time, Tommy was an avid fisherman, had a passion for his jeep, riding his quad, cars and bikes.  He could fix anything.

Tommy leaves behind his parents Wallace and Katherine White of Glastonbury, CT, his siblings Bill White of Amherst, MA, Emily White of Glastonbury, CT and his beloved dog, Cooper.  He also leaves his paternal grandparents, Patricia and Wallace White of Oak Bluffs, MA as well as aunts, uncles and cousins who loved him dearly.  He is predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Richard and Dorothy Langan of West Hartford, CT.

A wake will be held Friday, November 4th from 4:00 to 6:00 PM at the Mulryan Funeral Home, 725 Hebron Ave., Glastonbury.  A Mass of Christian Burial will follow on Saturday, November 5th at 10:00 AM at St. Dunstan Catholic Church, 1345 Manchester Rd. Interment will follow in Mount St. Benedict Cemetery, Bloomfield.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations be made to Rescue Dogs Rock NYC, PO Box 101 Gracie Station, NY, NY 10028 https://rescuedogsrocknyc.org/
