Obituary of Jean Lang

Jean Ann (Minietti) Lang, 52, entered into eternal peace on Saturday June 15, 2013. Jean was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Betty and Henry Minietti. She leaves her loving memories to be cherished by her husband of 30 years, Kurt, whom she met while working at McDonald's. Also remembering Jean's life are her two devoted daughters Jessica Scalora and her husband Tom and Carissa and her Fiance, Dave DeCesaris, brother Peter and his wife Hannah, sister Debbie and her husband Mike MacNeil, brother Paul and his wife Heather, in-laws Amy & Bob Lang, and many nieces, nephews and close friends. Her family fondly remembers her love of animals, fishing, snowmobiling, watching classic movies together, and her artistic ability. A life long resident of Glastonbury, Jean was a very kind and gentle soul; with a loving and generous heart, she was always giving to others. She was very active in community affairs in the Glastonbury Area. For many years she worked with the local Girl Scouts, the VFW Women's Auxiliary, and most recently she served as Treasurer of the Property Owner's Club in Glastonbury. Jean's family will be welcoming guests at Mulryan Funeral Home, 725 Hebron Ave., Glastonbury, CT on Tuesday, June 18th for calling hours between 4 - 7 pm. A Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, June 19th 10am at Mulryan Funeral Home. Burial will follow in St James Cemetery, Glastonbury.
