Obituary of Linda M. Hatcher

On Friday, December 30th, Linda M Hatcher, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away. She was 62. Born in Long Island, New York to James and Annemarie Kennedy. She is survived by her children, Christina and Audreyanne Hatcher; son-in-law DJ Rubino; grandchildren Cora and Kai Rubino; sister Kathryn Cross and brothers Peter, Brian, John, Scott, and Glenn Kennedy and Lonnie Martin; and fiancé Tony Ursa.

After spending her pre-teen years in Phoenix AZ, the family moved to Glastonbury, CT in 1975, where she graduated high school and later fulfilled a dream of owning the Diamond Restaurant with her father. A passionate learner, Linda held an Associate's Degree in Business Administration and continued her studies online in Criminal Justice - working toward a Master's Degree.

If you knew Linda, there were two things you knew for sure. One, there would always be a coffee in hand. And two, if she had her mind made up about something, she was going to do it and no one was going to tell her otherwise. Linda was a loving, independent, yet gregarious soul with the ability to make friends anywhere she went.

Friends may call on Thursday, January 5th from 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm at Mulryan Funeral Home, 725 Hebron Ave., Glastonbury. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday Jan. 6 at 11:00 am in Ss Isidore & Maria Parish at St. Paul Church, 2577 Main St., Glastonbury. Entombment will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Epilepsy Foundation or charity of your choice in Linda’s name. For online condolences please visit www.mulryanfh.com.
