Obituary of Carlene Carbone

Carlene (Thompson) Carbone, 69, of Manchester passed away on Tuesday, January 10, 2023 at Hartford Hospital with her two daughters, brother, and best friend by her side.

 

Born in Lewiston, Maine, Carlene was the daughter of the late Jerome and Theresa (Couture) Thompson. She was a loving and devoted mother, sister and grandmother to her family. People who knew Carlene will remember her for her unique personality, fighting spirit and strong will. Throughout her life her family came first and foremost and that shined through in everything she did. She will now be reunited with her loved ones in heaven, including her beloved dog Bella. Carlene’s passions in life were spending time with family, Sunday dinners, dancing and listening to music, doing yardwork outside on a beautiful day, summer beach vacations and catching up with friends and family about what was going on in their lives because that is what mattered to her most. Carlene spent the majority of her career working as an Administrative Processor and Human Resources Coordinator at ADT.

 

Surviving are her two daughters and son-in-law’s, Erika J. and Christopher Flynn of Canton, Kristen L. and Paul Norige of Colchester, her grandchildren Gianna Carlene Flynn, Sophia Jaqueline Flynn, Julian Vincent Norige and Bryson Stevens Norige, her brother Jerome Thompson and wife Donna of Colchester, her sister Linda Henriksen and husband Roy of West Virginia, her sister Pauline St. Jean and husband Jack of Maine, her former husband and lifelong companion Vincent Carbone of Glastonbury and his two sisters, Yola Feery and Sheila Young, lifelong best friend Janet D’Angelo and several nieces and nephews.

 

In fulfilling her wishes, services will be private with no calling hours. A celebration of Carlene’s life and memory will be held on a future date to be determined.
