Bob, we will always cherish Bette's friendship at Englewood. We could always count on her to keep us up to date with what was happening in the neighborhood, who was arriving and who was leaving. We got to know everyone through Bette. She was fun to chat with. We will remember her fondly, while we are vacationing in Englewood, especially at sunset. Sending prayers your way.

Our memories of Betty will be in our hearts and minds forever. She was one of the most gentle, natural woman we've ever known. Words cannot express our sadness at losing this beautiful person. We are certain her life as a mother, wife and teacher has changed the world for the better. We will miss watching the sunsets together.

I will forever remember Mrs. Pisarski knitting on the sidelines at all of our baseball games, from little league to high school. A kind soul, and a loving mother! She will be missed, but know she’s looking down from a better place. Much love and support…

Six years ago we rented a house next to Bette and Bob in Florida. Each morning Bette and McDuff would walk by and stop to chat. We soon were going out to dinner together, attending concerts and enjoying the sunsets. I remember Bette did not want to go to dinner until after the sunset, as she wanted to see it each evening. She was a delightful person to be around, always upbeat and kind. We stayed in touch throughout the years, and even this fall she talked of coming to Florida this winter. She will be missed. My love to all. Nancy Lord, Ohio

The Kurker-Stewart family remembers Bette especially for our time together on MV. She was a wonderful friend to my mother, such a warm person to be around, and with Bob raised incredible children who are some of the kindest people I know. Remembering her so fondly and sending love to you all.

When we rented the house next to Bette and Bob in Englewood Fl. We would see her walk past our rental in the evening and we always knew when it was time for the sunset. We've missed seeing her and Bob here the last couple of years.

I am so grateful to Elizabeth for introducing me to her beautiful mother. Over the years, I have gotten to know her through many loving and hilarious stories, and I was blessed with the opportunity to have her in the audience at various performances. It was impossible to be in her presence and not smile. I am deeply sorry for your tremendous loss. Sending my love and prayers to the entire family.
