To my brother Jerry, niece Nancy and nephew Tom,
We are so saddened by the untimely passing of Steve. I will always cherish memories of him growing up and at a young age wondering why Uncle Joe was always gone when Santa showed up on Christmas Eve. He eventually figured out that I was the fat guy in the red suit. To the many hunting excursions we took, whether it was in the northern Maine woods or the state forests of Connecticut, those were special times. I will treasure those memories forever. Rest in peace Steve, until we meet again.
Love,
Uncle Joe & Aunt Linda

We are so saddened to hear Steve passed. He was so kind, thoughtful, caring and down to earth. He had a passion for the outdoors and enjoyed his sports and adventures. I’m sharing a photo I took of Steve at Nancy & Ken’s wedding. He was too modest to be photographed so much but endured it graciously all day. My heart goes out to Steve’s family and friends. We send our deepest condolences. He is greatly missed.

Steve, thank you for not only being a great brother but for being my friend. It didn’t matter day or night I knew I could always call you and you’d be there. I could also always count on the hilarious memes you would send me just about every day. I’d always had fun when we’d get together whether we were watching a movie, on the boat or just going for a hike. Mary Beth and Luke were always so excited when they were going to see their Uncle “Teve” a.k.a. Uncle Pineapple. Thank you for helping Luke catch his first fish up in Maine and for being a good sport playing dolls or doing Disney puzzles with Mary Beth when she was little. Thank you for being a great brother-in-law to Ken. He loved you like you were his own brother. I don’t know what else to say except I love you and I will miss you every single day. Who else is going to quote The Goonies with me? I hope the sunrises in Heaven last all day long, the fish never stop biting and there’s always fresh powder for snowboarding. Give mom a big hug for me. Love your little sis, Nancy
