Obituary of Roberto Ruiz, Jr.

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Roberto Ruiz, Jr., 52, of Manchester on Thursday, April 27, 2023. He was the beloved husband of Angelica (Sifuentes) Ruiz. In addition to his wife, Roberto is survived by his two loving daughters Angie Ruiz and her husband Alfredo Olivier of Manchester, Katherine Ruiz and her husband Ariel Rivera of Manchester, his five grandchildren Julian, Jacob and Eliana Olivier, Kariely and Mateo Rivera.

Born in Havana, Cuba, he was the son of Roberto Ruiz, Sr. and the late Mirella (Alvarez) Ruiz. Roberto loved all sports particularly, baseball, soccer and football. He also loved traveling, hunting, camping and fishing. Every year, he would go fishing to Alaska with his friends. He was a man of many trades in the Real Estate, restaurant and construction business for many years. He dedicated all his spare time in lending a helping hand to anyone in need, coaching youth baseball and umpiring softball games. Recently, his passion was coaching Julian's former Ansaldi Construction Manchester Little League Team. He tremendously impacted multiple communities.

He was one of a kind. He helped everyone he encountered. Life will never be the same without him. He will be missed eternally by everyone, especially his grandchildren. He was completely dedicated to all his grandchildren and included them in every aspect of his life. His wish for all, was to celebrate his life and to remember the man he was. His absence will truly be felt by all. He will never be forgotten.
