Obituary of Domenic J. LoPreiato

Domenic J. LoPreiato, 88, of Kensington passed away on Sunday, May 7, 2023 at the Hospital of Central CT, New Britain. He was the husband of the late Domenica A. LoPreiato.

Born in Stefanaconi, Italy, he was the son of the late Matteo and Maria (Larocca) LoPreiato. Domenic was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He learned the skill of Carpentry at a young age and worked in the construction field for many years. Domenic later worked for the State of CT as a Supervisor.

He is survived by his two sons Matteo LoPreiato and his wife Courtney of Berlin, Anthony LoPreiato and his wife Gina of Kensington, his two daughters Maria Siciliano and her husband Nicholas of Glastonbury, and Terry Turcotte of Kensington, his seven grandchildren Elizabeth, Melissa and Anthony LoPreiato, Matthew and Natalie Siciliano, Robert and Victoria Turcotte, his brother Joseph LoPreiato and his wife Mary of Berlin, and several nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, May 12, 2023 at 10:00 am at St. Paul Church, 461 Alling Street, Kensington. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery, New Britain. There are no calling hours. For online condolences, please visit www.mulryanfh.com.
