Obituary of Claudette P. Desjardins

Claudette (Picard) Desjardins, 85, of Glastonbury, wife of the late Richard Desjardins, died Saturday May 20, 2023 at the Glastonbury Health Care. Born December 18, 1937 in Frenchville, ME, daughter of the late Josephel and Cecile (Michaud) Picard, she had lived in Glastonbury since 1965.  Prior to her retirement in 2015 she was a Systems Analyst for the Aetna. Claudette is survived by her 2 sons Mark Desjardins of Arlington, TX, Rick Desjardins and wife Gail of North Granby, a brother Joseph Lloyd Picard and wife Irene of Enfield, 2 sisters Lorraine Picard Nadeau and husband Ron of Fort Kent, ME, Joyce Picard Chasse and her husband Ricky of Glastonbury, 6 grandchildren, Sean, Marissa, Richard and Kyle Desjardins Aaron and Jacob Mayfield, 10 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her 2 brothers and 2 sisters, Joseph Clifford “Bee” Picard, Martin Delano “Bobby” Picard, Jacqueline “Jackie” Wiers, Patricia Ann “Patty” Picard. Funeral service will be Saturday May 27 at 10am in the Mulryan Funeral Home, 725 Hebron Ave., Glastonbury. Burial will follow in St. Augustine Cemetery, South Glastonbury.
