Obituary of Charlotte S. Bantle

Charlotte (Somers) Bantle, 81, of Glastonbury passed away unexpectedly at home on Friday, June 23, 2023. She was the widow of Warren E. Bantle.

Born in Hartford, Charlotte was the daughter of the late Frank and Elvira (Roberge) Somers. She was a sales representative for Avon cosmetics for over fifty years. Charlotte enjoyed volunteering her time with the Glastonbury Volunteer Fire Auxiliary, Senior Center and many other organizations as well.

Surviving are her sons Michael W. Bantle of Rocky Hill, Jeffrey T. Bantle and his wife Gail of Glastonbury, her grandchildren Christopher M. Bantle of Kensington and Abigail E. Bantle of Colchester. In addition to her husband and parents, Charlotte is predeceased by her brother Joseph N. Somers.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 28, 2023 at 11:00 am at St. James Episcopal Church, 2584 Main St., Glastonbury. Burial will be in Green Cemetery.
