Dick was my first boss at Commercial Engines. He was a knowledgeable and patient teacher and leader. I owe much to Dick. I liked him enormously.

I am blessed to have met this man and his family! He had called me many years ago doing some electrical work at their home is how we met, and friends since. I'm sure our Lord is saying "Well done, Good and faithful servant!" His heart full of joy! While I had returned home from the hospital we talked about our faith journey, and he had given me a book on deeper prayer.
Such a great, and inspiring person. My condolences to all of his family, but I know we'll see him again! Praising our Lord for his life, and praying our Lord will continue to wrap his loving arms around all his family, with his peace, joy, love and mercy. Love to all his family, Al Rousseau.

49 years ago, we had the good fortune of moving in next door to the Inman’s. And ever since it has been a joy and a privilege to be Dick’s neighbor.
Dick enjoyed a good emergency and was always ready to come to our aid. Whether it was using his chainsaw to cut up a fallen tree limb, or snow blowing our driveway, he was always eager to help. Dick was very generous, and he and Sue often invited us to sail on their boat and to countless parties at their home
He was also accomplished in his profession. Graduating from Georgia Tech having earned a rigorous degree in Mechanical Engineering, he went on to a rewarding career with Pratt and Whitney. His work involved travel across the globe. Dick would return from exotic places with fascinating tales.
He had a great sense of humor and entertained all of us with his self-effacing stories.
Dick will be greatly missed and never forgotten.
Pat and Dick Nicholas
