Ever since the first time I met Joy, I felt that her view of life was very inspirational; even when things got tough, she never complained. Her smile would lite up any room she was in.
Prayers to all her family -
Mary

I will both miss Gammy Joy as she has meant a lot to me since I have met her. She was such a wonderful person and I will remember all of the times that we have had together and I will always remember how she welcomed me into the Hale Family.

Many Sympathies on the loss of your beloved family member and friend. Reading about her was a JOY,what a wonderful woman. It's obvious that she was a woman of faith who shared her life with the world. What a legacy she leaves and loving footsteps to follow in. May you all feel God's love and comfort during this sad time. Special love to Laura and Ben.

ATTN; Attorney Robert J. Hale, Jr. In the words of Emily Dickinson; "Because I could not stop for Death, He kindly stopped for me; The carriage held but just ourselves And Immortality. We slowly drove, he knew no haste, And I had put away My labor, and my leisure too, For his civility. We passed the school, where children strove At recess, in the ring; We passed the fields of gazing grain, We passed the setting sun. Or rather, he passed us; The dews grew quivering and chill, For only gossamer my gown, My tippet only tulle. We paused before a house that seemed A swelling of the ground; The roof was scarcely visible, The cornice but a mound. Since then 'tis centuries, and yet each Feels shorter than the day I first surmised the horses' heads Were toward eternity."

Laura and I loved Gammy very much including the times we have had together and the times that she had us laughing or trying to keep the house in line and tow. Our thoughts are with the whole family. With Love, Ben & Laura
