Obituary of Natalina B. Querido
Natalina (Bom) Querido, 92, of Glastonbury passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, August 26, 2023 surrounded by her family. She was the widow of John Querido, Jr.
Born in Mira de Aire, Portugal, Natalina was the daughter of the late Antonio Joao Bom and Rosa Lavado Jorge. She excelled at gardening, cooking and keeping a neat and clean home. She looked forward to calls and visits from family and friends and enjoyed family gatherings. Natalina’s life revolved around her children and she sacrificed herself to pursue caring for them.
Surviving are her daughter Jane Querido of Glastonbury, her son David Querido and his fiancé Christine Schultz of NC. Also surviving are her godchildren, Rosa Maria Luis of Wethersfield and Angelo Jorge of North Haven, niece Lucinda Tavares and nephews Michael Esteves and Armindo Jorge, all of whom she held dear along with their spouses and children. An equally special survivor, is cousin Lucille Gioello of West Hartford. She was predeceased by her very special siblings, Elvira Catarino, Adelina Ferreira, Manuel Jorge and Maria Moco, sisters-in-law Evelyn Daigle and Hilda Esteves and brother-in-law, Edward Querido.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, September 1, 2023 at 10:00 am at Ss. Isidore and Maria Parish in St. Paul Church, 2577 Main St., Glastonbury. Burial will be in Mount St. Benedict Cemetery, Bloomfield. Friends may call on Friday, September 1, 2023 from 8:30 am to 9:30 am at Mulryan Funeral Home, 725 Hebron Ave., Glastonbury.
