Al was one of a kind--tough as nails, but kind and generous and always willing to help out. One example: when I was moving (1999), All came to help and brought two much younger men. The poor younger guys were so intimidated, watching Al carry two full boxes of books at a time--they tried to do the same, but the boxes were too heavy for them. Wishing blessing, strength, and comfort to all who knew and loved this wonderful man.

I met Al and Fern Daigle through their daughter, Gayle Daigle in 1985. I then met Donna, Michael and too many relatives to count. Gayle quickly became a sister/friend. Al, like Gayle and Fern you have left footprints on my heart despite being opposites. I hope heaven looks like your farm in Daigle, ME.
I so wish we could have taken you there before you left this world. Peace and God Speed Al (Dad)
Sandy (adopted daughter).

I’m truly saddened by your loss, I consider Al to be a friend and mentor. He taught me that by working hard, standing behind what you say and sticking things out, life would reward you in time.
He was a proud Marine for which I admired him and now raise my arm to salute him towards his next journey with our lord.
William Potter, Msg retired.
