Obituary of Elisabeth Modlesky

Elisabeth Jane Modlesky, 17, of Glastonbury, died Sunday July 14, 2013 of injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Born December 13, 1995 in Glastonbury beloved daughter of Bernard M. "Bud" Modlesky and Cammi (Manzo) Modlesky she was a lifelong resident of Glastonbury. Jane was a senior at Glastonbury High School where she was a member of the Varsity Lacrosse team, National Honor Society and Student Council. She was also proud to be a Big Brother and Big Sister, a captain of the Math Team, the Badminton Club and a GBA champion. This year she was selected for Lacrosse Super Juniors and the CT Select Lacrosse Teams. Besides her parents she is survived by her 2 brothers Max Modlesky and Jake Modlesky both of Glastonbury, her grandmother Anne Manzo of Florida and her grandfather Bernard "Doc" Modlesky of New Jersey and many aunts, uncles and cousins who loved her dearly. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday, July 19 at 10am in St. Paul Church, 2577 Main St., Glastonbury. (Please meet directly at church) Burial will follow in Green Cemetery, Glastonbury. Friends may call at the Mulryan Funeral Home, 725 Hebron Ave., Glastonbury on Thursday July 18 from 4-8pm. (Please park at Hebron Avenue Elementary School, 1363 Hebron Ave., Glastonbury, for shuttle service to and from the funeral home).
