Mr Gagliardo was one of my first youth basketball coach growing up. I can still remember practices at gilead hill and his NY accent. Condolences to the family. He sounds like he was a really great man/father/husband.

I have many fond memories of working for John in the tax shelter group. He was a good friend and wonderful boss. John was even instrumental in my being hired by the CT Department of Revenue Services when he sent me the help wanted ad he saw posted in the Hartford Courant looking for a person to form a computer audit group for the state.

My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. I worked with John at the I.R.S. John was always a kind gentleman who had good words for all. He was very smart, professional, and had a great sense of humor.
