My heart and prayers go out to Russ' family. Being new in the field of polymer chemistry, Russ was one of the Uniroyal family who had shared his knowledge in guiding my analytical skills. Russ was a member of the Uniroyal Chemical Positive Intervention Team working together to expand safety awareness.

Russ was one of the nicest people I've had had the good fortune to know. We worked together at Uniroyal/Crompton in the 1990s and I always felt my day was better when we had a chance to talk. He will be missed by many people who knew him. My prayers are with his family. May Russ's memory be a blessing. Harriet Aaronson
