Obituary of Roger Hawkins

Roger M. Hawkins of Glastonbury, beloved husband of Henrietta, passed away November 17, 2011 at the age of 82. Originally from New Jersey he graduated from the University of Vermont and was a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon, Tau Beta Pi and ASME. A longtime Glastonbury resident he worked at Pratt & Whitney for 33 years. He enjoyed travel, music, woodworking and photography. He is survived by his wife, daughter Susan Hawkins, former daughter-in-law Jennifer Hanson, granddaughter Samantha Hanson and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son David. The family would like to express thanks to caregivers from Salmon Brook Center and health-aid Sophia. There will be a private service held at the Green Cemetery in Glastonbury.
