Obituary of Ingelore H. Miller

On December 3, 2023 Ingelore Hanna Eva (nee Badewitz) Miller, 95, of Hebron CT passed away with her daughter Caroline by her side. She was born in Barby Germany on September 3, 1928 to the late August and Minna Badewitz. Ingelore is predeceased by her husband John and son Uwe, as well as brothers Heinz, Dietrich and Klaus. She is survived by her daughter Caroline Kron (Ken), granddaughter Dawn Malone (Jerry), granddaughters Hanna and Gretchen Kron, grandson Drew Kron and great granddaughters Viktoria and Allisa Malone. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and sister in laws Resi Badewitz and Barbel Badewitz.

Ingelore lived in Germany until she met her husband John who was stationed there with the US Army and moved to North Carolina in 1963. In 1964 the family returned to Germany until being stationed to Fort Monroe, Hampton VA in 1970 where she remained until moving to CT in 2018. In 1976 Ingelore received her American citizenship and served her new country as a military wife as well as volunteering at the Hampton Roads Women’s Shelter and local cat shelters. She loved traveling, gardening, sewing and classical music.
