I knew Bill for many years mostly regarding working with him on paving projects at the Middletown Station Power plant and at my residents. For many years he would drive by my resident's on Main st while checking out other projects for his company and just to chit chat @ work, his VT travels and some FL visits. We shared medical challenges and success with beating cancer. Bill was so mellow and compassionate and a real friend. He drove by about a couple of months ago to chit chat again. I can’t believe he might have been ill but I hope and pray he was not in pain. His drive byes and chit chat and professional expertise will be missed - Bill- rest in peace - you left this world way too soon.

My Sincere Condolences to the entire Jefferson family.
Bill was such a very special person to so many of us, always willing to help his friends. I enjoyed seeing him on
"The Hill" making the rounds stopping to chat with his many friends.
Bill has left an indelible memory on all of us that will be cherished for a very long time.
God Bless The Jeffersons.
And to Bill: Godspeed my friend.
May you Rest in Peace.

Condolences to the Jefferson Family. I met Bill almost 30 years ago when I started working in Glastonbury. He was very welcoming to me from the start. I would see him every morning on Main Street at 5:45 AM while I was on my way into work. I will miss our conversations about the Pats, Fords and just about anything.

My sincere condolences to Mrs.Jefferson and all of the family and friends who loved him so dearly. Heff was a loyal and devoted friend to my father, Sal Vullo. He went above and beyond to do anything to help him out with the things he could no longer do in his old age. As well as that, they shared the latest scoop of what was going on in business and around town. He was incredibly supportive to me, a true friend I could call when I needed a name, a number or advise, he knew how to reason with dad!! His kindness had an impact on me that I’ll never forget.I, as my dad will miss him very much. My thoughts and prayers are with you. May he Rest In Peace.
With love,
Sally Vullo

My sincere condolences to Mrs. Jefferson, Linda and her family. I will miss Bill and all his wisdom very much. He had such a big heart and was a true friend. I will miss him stopping by on a Sunday afternoon sharing a burger and a beer at the family cookouts and catching up on the latest paving scoop. I will always be grateful for his guidance and wisdom in the construction industry as he was a legend that everyone respected. Woodland St. and the Matson Hill area will now have a void that no one will be able to fill. I hope going forward that not only myself but all of the other guys that Bill mentored can strive to be like him.
