Dad- You have always been the rock, the guiding light in our family. I am so grateful that I had you as my Dad and though I know you are home now, you are still deeply missed here.
You still remain in my heart and your love and lessons are still my GPS that help me get through each day without you. Thanks again for every joke, every laugh, every tear and every prayer you shared.

You were truly a candle on a hill. Your light was evident to everyone around you and continues to burn in your children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

If you knew my Pepere you know that he loved to get breakfast. Some of my fondest memories are of the breakfasts we shared in the mornings before visiting the convalescent homes to bring the people who could not attend mass communion with a smile.
Every time we would get breakfast Pepere would walk in (either Franklins or the Coffee Shop) and announce "My granddaughter is taking me out to breakfast." with a huge smile on his face. Usually he would send me up to the cashier to pay the bill and would smile and wink.
One day I asked on the way to breakfast if we could go to the doughnut shop. With some change in my pocket I approached the counter and ordered us each a doughnut. I remember how proud he was that day that I really treated him to breakfast and I will never forget how great it feels to make such a great man proud.

They broke the mold when God created Mr. Martin Jacques. I could say so much about this wonderful, kind man. I will share a story about the love and support he gave to my family when my Dad died in 1962 when I was 10 years old. My mom was 44 years old with my 3 brothers and myself all under the age of 14 to support. In spite of having 6 kids of his own, he helped us emotionally and financially. My brother Peter tells the story of how he came to my Mom and told her that he needed to buy some of my Dad's tools. He gave her $100 for a bunch of hammers and other tools probably worth $10. He wanted to help my mom but respect her pride and dignity.
To me, Mr. Jacques was the man who helped to fill the empty space in my heart that my Dad left. We had a silly spelling game that brings a smile to my face always.
He is at peace in the gentle hands of God. The Tomany & Marone families are blessed, honored and privileged to know and have the love of this wonderful man.
Our hearts and love go out to Mrs. Jacques, Denise, Michael, Peter, Jean, Lizette, Diane and all their families.

Pat & Family, My sister Joanne and I just found out about Martin's passing, or as he would say, GRADUATION! Hearts are broken and sadness must be to the core but getting through these times is the fact that he was an amazing guy, inspirational, kind, gentle.....May peace comfort you. Mr. Jacques, I thank you for all you have done for the Feeney girls! A true friend, not just of our parents, but of ours as well! God Bless!

Dear Aunt Pat and Cousins, Even though our meetings were infrequent, I will never forget how wonderful Uncle Martin was. He helped me so much with his insight and kindness when my mother died. He was a great support. Joe and I also remember your trip to visit us in CA. Joe loved taking Uncle Martin and Auntie for rides to show them our CA. As I said before, we did not see each other often but he was always in my thoughts as you are Auntie. I have the rosary beads that he gave me and I keep them on my person at all times. People pass on, but their memory lives on in our hearts. In Love and Sympathy, Joan and Joe

So many great memories of Uncle Martin, from holiday gatherings, to camping & water skiing on Gardner lake, to being counseled before getting married, and so many more of a wonderful Uncle. He has made the world a better place through his love for others and for God. You will be greatly missed, Uncle Martin, but you will always be a part of all those you touched.
