Carol Ann (Stcynske) Bingham, 97, of South Glastonbury, passed away peacefully on June 1, 2024, at Hartford Hospital. She was the beloved wife of 71 years of the late James Bingham.

Carol was born and grew up in St. Paul, Minnesota, the daughter of the late Joseph Stcynske and Ida Marie Stcynske.  She married James Bingham in 1948 and they lived in Minnesota until 1959 when they moved to Tacoma, Washington.  They lived there for twelve years, and there she developed her passion for gardening, especially roses. She also loved cooking and baking, especially for family and friends.

Carol is survived by her four sons: William and his wife Patricia, David, Michael and his wife Dori, and Timothy.  She is also survived by four beloved grandchildren: Christopher Bingham and his wife Kelli, Julia (Bingham) Wiester and her husband Michael, Matthew Bingham and his wife Julie, and Nathaniel Bingham, as well as four beloved great-grandchildren, Colin and Ryan Bingham, and Penelope Rae and Livia CarolAnn Wiester. Carol was predeceased by her brother Donald Stcynske.
