Obituary of Mary C. Stevens

  Mary C. Stevens, 76, of Winchester, CT. was welcomed home by her LORD and Savior on June 3, 2024. 
     Mary was born in Sharon, CT. to the late Roger W. and Vera (Barnum) Clapp.  She was the youngest of five children.  At the time of her death, Mary had recently retired from a career in real estate of more than 35 years. 
     Mary is survived by her son, Robert Wedda and his wife, Nikki, of Torrington, CT.;  her daughter, Heather Zimmermann and her husband, Michael of Glastonbury, CT.;  her siblings Judy Marshall of Virginia, David Clapp and his wife, Shelia of North Carolina,  her sister-in-law, Carol Clapp of Torrington, CT;  her granddaughter Abigail Healy and step-grandchildren, Mark, Ashley and Hailey Zimmermann of Glastonbury; and her many nieces and nephews.   She was predeceased by her older brothers, Roger B. Clapp and Robin W. Clapp. 
     Mary was an avid golfer, enjoyed antiquing and time spent with friends and family.  She loved her cat, who stayed by her side in her final days.  She was generous and kind and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
