Sue, Michael, Jenna and Matthew,
My deepest sympathy to all of you. I am so saddened by your loss of Paul. He was such an incredible man - smart, kind, loving, funny, generous, and the list could go on and on. I loved his bear hugs, his larger than life personality, and his distinctive laugh.
When I was a child, my family spent a lot of time with the Marchinetti clan. From play dates at their house in Framingham or our house in Westborough, get togethers at Chuck E. Cheese and the Discovery Zone, vacations to Lake George and Disney World, and countless hours in the White Mountains of NH, camping, hiking, and bonding, we had the best of times. I looked to Paul and Sue like family members, a very special type of Uncle and Aunt. When I reflect on my childhood, many of my fond memories are of our times spent together and I will be forever grateful that we got to experience many life lessons together including but not limited to: crazy rain storms while setting up our camp site that taught us to work together and persevere; beautiful sunsets over the top of Mt. Washington as we arrived at Lakes of the Clouds hut feeling grateful for such a reward after pushing ourselves physically during a several-mile hike; intense games of Mini Golf in Lincoln that forced us to learn patience, sportsmanship and empathy as some of the younger kiddos in the group grew easily frustrated at the challenges that the course provided; hanging around the camp fire at night, sharing stories and our hopes and dreams, and just being with each other through ups and downs, working things out, figuring out the group dymanic, and growing up together - I am so grateful to have had these experiences during my childhood and adolescence. Thank you Paul, Sue and the Marchinetti kids for having such a positive impact on my life. Thank you for all the fun and special times, "Uncle" Paul. You will be deeply missed. Marchinettis - I love you all and I am so incredibly sorry for your loss.
