Obituary of William D. Richey

William David Richey, 83, son of David and Margaret Richey of Woodbridge, CT, passed away on December 23, 2024.

Bill was an outstanding athlete. He loved skiing, cycling, kayaking and hiking. He had a real love for life.

He worked as an engineer at United Technologies for 40 years. After retiring he volunteered for The Diabetes Foundation, organizing cycling fundraisers. He also volunteered for Habitat for Humanity.

Bill is survived by his wife Susan, his children Kevin Richey and his wife Deborah and  their two children Colin & Isaac of Christiansburg, VA and his son Christopher Richey of Homer, Alaska. 

The memorial service will be held on Monday, December 30, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Mulryan Funeral Home, 725 Hebron Ave., Glastonbury.
