Obituary of José Sousa

Jose Carlos Sousa, of Glastonbury, passed away Friday, October 25, 2013, at Saint Francis Hospital. Born November 5, 1943 in Vila do Porto, Santa Maria, Azores, to the late Jose and Filomena Sousa, he was a longtime resident of Glastonbury. A loving husband and father, he is survived by his wife Olguete, and son Steven, as well as many nieces and nephews, and good friends. Besides his parents Jose is predeceased by his loving grandmother, Adelaide and his siblings, Antonio, Casimiro, Ludevina, and Guilhermina. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, October 30 at 10:00 A.M. in Saint Dunstan Church, 1345 Manchester Rd., Glastonbury. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
