It is with deep sadness that I read about Claire's passing. I volunteered in the singing group with Claire at the Jefferson House after my mother Avis died. I came to love Claire dearly even though I lost contact with her once she moved. She was so special. The residents had no idea she was older than many of them. She was an amazing role model and a great lady. I gave her a photo of my puppy Molly because of her love of dogs. My very deepest condolences to her family.
