My mother Ruth Malpas Tekirian and Marie were roommates in college at Douglas. She had such fond memories of their times together. I am her daughter and also share fun times visiting Marie and her mother and her aunt in Leonia (wonderful cooks!). My mom passed away two days after Marie, on February 19, 2014. My condolences to you all. They both will be missed!
Marie was a wonderful lady. She was my supervisor at Aetna when I joined in 1973. We all moved from NYC to Hartford, CT. I spend 25 years with Aetna and enjoyed working with Marie and all the other wonderful staff. She worked 41 years and also had wonderful memories of the company. It was a pleasure to meet her family at the church services. May she rest in peace. God Bless the family.
