Obituary of Frederick Howe

Frederick E. Howe, 77, of Manchester, beloved husband for 55 years to Nancy (Vail) Howe, died Sunday, May 18, 2014 at St. Francis Hospital. Born May 13, 1937 in New Haven, was a Giants fan and supported Jeff Gordon in NASCAR. He also enjoyed golfing and bowling, passions he passed down, playing in leagues with his sons. Fred was a loving father to his children, Sean, Laura, Barbara, Richard, Brub and his wife Deborah, Glenn, and Christine, all of Manchester. He was like a father to countless others including his grandchildren, Kelleen and her husband Jason, Shannon, Brianna, Kevin, Amanda, Tricia, and Sean, his great grandchildren, Jasen, Maryah, Amya, Tiana, Amelia, Braiden, Sawyer, and his many nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his brother Ward of Newington. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated, Thursday, May 22, 2014 at 10:00 A.M. in Saint Paul Church, 2677 Main Street, Glastonbury. Friends may call on Wednesday, May 21, from 5 to 8 at the Mulryan Funeral Home, 725 Hebron Ave., Glastonbury.
