Obituary of Arthur Hahn

Arthur E. Hahn, of Glastonbury, CT, beloved husband of Beatrice Estes Hahn, went home to his Heavenly Father on Dec 13, 2011. Art was born in Rahway, NJ on July 26, 1933 to the late Stanley & Margery Nielson Hahn. After high school he worked for Standard Oil of NJ, and then served in the US Army from 1955-1957. After his military service, he went to work for Oil Heat & Engineering in West Hartford, CT. In 1976, Arthur and his late wife Florence, started Weather Trend Inc, a heating & air conditioning business in Glastonbury, CT. which they operated until their retirement in 2003. Art was a member of the Glastonbury Community Church and Gideon's International. He is survived by his wife Beatrice Estes Hahn of Glastonbury, CT, and two sons: Russell Hahn of Glastonbury, CT, and Steven Hahn of South Glastonbury, CT. He also leaves sisters Mrs. Mary (Karl) Traber of Banning, CA and Mrs. Norma Powell of Connellsville, PA. In addition he leaves his Father & Mother In-law, Rev. Howard M. and Mrs. Ruth Wood of South Glastonbury, CT, 5 stepchildren, Stephen Estes, Joel Estes, Mark Estes, Heather Estes White and Nathan Estes, 12 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren. At the request of the family, there will be no calling hours, and the burial will be private. A Memorial Service to celebrate Art's life will be held on Sat, Jan 7, 2012, at 10 am at the Glastonbury Community Church in Glastonbury, CT.
