Obituary of Elizabeth Patton

Elizabeth (Betty) Patton 94, wife of the late Francis J. Patton, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 2, 2014 at her home in St. Petersburg, FL. Born in Philadelphia, PA. on 11/24/1919 to the late Harold and Elizabeth (Paxson) Franklin. She is survived by her daughters Phyllis Draghi and husband Peter Draghi of So. Windsor. Dale Kaczmarczyk and partner Roger Luetjen of St. Petersburg, FL. Her grandchildren Suzanne Bedell of Glastonbury, Deborah Bailey and husband John of Columbia. Walter Kaczmarczyk and wife Debbie of Somers, Kathy Stimpson and husband John of Windsor Locks, Brett Kaczmarczyk of Ellington and David Kaczmarczyk and fiancee Linda Germain of Vernon. Six great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. Her brother Lee Franklin resides in Philadelphia, PA. She was predeceased by her grandson James Darby, grandson-in-law Frank Bedell, three brothers Harry, Robert, and Harold Franklin and one sister Anne List. Betty and her husband lived in East Hartford for years. Betty worked as a telephone operator for Bell Telephone. In 1955 they moved back to Pennsylvania where she spent the rest of her working years for Atlantic Ridgefield in the same field until her retirement in 1981, when she and her husband moved to Florida. Calling hours will be on Sunday June 8th from 3pm to 5pm at Mulryan Funeral Home, 725 Hebron Ave., Glastonbury. The Funeral Service will be held Monday June 9th at 11am at Mulryan Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Old Church Cemetery, Main Street, Glastonbury.
