It's been almost 2 years since this world lost your infectious smile. I like to think you're in a better place where the snow is always fresh, the bikes are always working properly, and the cookies are always served with a tall glass of milk.
I was asked recently who taught me how to drive a standard transmission recalled that day 20 years ago like it was yesterday: Both you and Max gave me all the instructions I needed and when I stalled that car in the middle of that intersection, you both refused to bail me out. You had told me everything I needed to know earlier but it was up to me to learn that clutch quickly, before the traffic jam got any worse. If only this world had more tough teachers like that...
From baseball fields to mountains to cliffs and apple orchards, I'm forever reminded through your spirit of the wonderful memories you helped shape in my adolescences.
You taught me how to take more chances, smile more often, and laugh at myself whenever possible. I hope you and Max are reading comics and laughing at our silly mistakes down here. Thank you for being the best friend a guy could every have.

Carla I am so sorry to read about the loss of your son Ben. I know that you will miss him terribly. I also know that he found peace and that you will also find peace through your faith and belief in a higher power. John

I have no words, Please accept my sympathies and prayers. Ben's smile lit up the room and I can remember his passion for the outdoors especially snowboarding. Skiing and snowboarding at mount snow with Edan and Ben and watching Ben flip in the air and land on his head and just bounce right back up with that smile on his face and shake it off like it was nothing. Will never forget him, many memories. Hope you are in a better place Ben.
