Aunt Linda's love of life was a comfort from my position with her children in the back of one or another of the great station wagons that circulate through an American generation's memories of youth. Mine was a happy one, and I send a shout out to her, her voice and her smile, up there in the front seat. Thank you Aunt Linda. My love and comfort I send to the magic three: Dawn, Christine, Rob.

I knew Linda as Linda Bradley from when we both attended Old Rochester Regional High School. Although I hadn't seen her for more than fifty years, I immediately recognized her picture in this morning's Hartford Courant. I'm saddened by her passing and wish her family peace in the days to come. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
