Obituary of Antonio Salvador

Antonio Salvador, 89, of Glastonbury, beloved husband of Encarnacao (Esteves) Salvador for 65 years, died Thursday August 14, 2014 at home. Born December 15, 1924 in Pawtucket, RI he had lived in Glastonbury for the past 32 years. Prior to his retirement he worked for Pratt & Whitney Aircraft. He was a member of the Portuguese Continental Union. Besides his wife he is survived by a son and daughter-in-law Anthony and Maria Salvador of South Windsor, three daughters and a son-in-law Theresa Williams of Hartford, Mary and Charles Sorbo of Plainville, Dolores Malignaggi of Hartford, two grandchildren Marissa St. Louis and her husband Brian and Stephanie Sorbo and two great grandchildren Sidney and Maxton St. Louis. He was predeceased by a brother Francisco and a sister Tereza. Funeral service will be Saturday August 16, 9:15am from the Mulryan Funeral Home, 725 Hebron Ave., Glastonbury with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10am in St. Paul Church, 2577 Main St., Glastonbury. Burial will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, Glastonbury. Friends may call at the funeral home TODAY from 6-8 pm. The family extends many thanks to family and friends for their love and support.
